When I was 11 my dad cut my hair with horse clippers and used WD40 to loosen them up. That haircut looked 10 times better than this botch job I got at this great clips yesterday… I think I am now required to run around yelling “Hey you guys!” For the next three weeks. Honestly I’ve been coming to this place for a while now and I’ve always had a great experience but recently I feel like you guys can’t cut hair ( I’m only speaking for some people not all the workers ) but my last haircut I got really was the deciding factor so I won’t be coming back to great clips. My haircut isn’t even that hard 2 or 3 on the sides and very little off the top and some people can’t even do that right so I would look into your employees again or idk hire people who can cut hair

We were in a crisis with our 8 yr old girls hair. We have spent hours detangling her hair. It’s NYE and 415p ( close at 5p) we tried 3 other places and they wouldn’t take our appt. The great clips by Smiths on 90th s and redwood took care of her knots. Gave her a great cut and how to care for her hair. Holland was their 2nd to last client and they couldn’t have been more professional and relatable to me and my daughter. We were out at 515p. Thanks you for being the solution we needed.

What can I say. I wasn’t impressed. Obviously not expecting a high end experience…. its not a luxury salon after all. I did expect basic customer service though. First (and, only, now) time I came in, I was looking for a basic trim. The associate who greeted me (appearing to be a manager or lead emplyee) asked me if I had an appointment. I did, you can schedule online. She played around with the computer and asked if I had been in before. I told her it was my first time at this location. She then asked me if I wanted to provide a phone number so she could put me in the system. Believing it was a choice, I opted not to. She appeared annoyed by my answer and said, “its just a phone number.” Awkward sauce. I again declined, which, she clearly was even more annoyed with. Double awkward sauce. Make it a triple when she happened to be the next one finished, which meant I was her next cut. The horrible acting made it nearly impossible not to notice her stalling so she didn’t need to be the one to serve me Eventually, every single hair was removed from her station and she had no choice but to acknowledge our awkward encounter was inevitable . I sat down and immediately informed her I had karitin extensions. In one ear and out the other I guess. She put the cape on and asked what I would like. I asked for a trim… about 1 inch. She grabbed a brush and started at the top. It was then she noticed the extensions, and asked me with surprise. Trying realllllllly hard not to roll my eyes out of the store, I confirmed. She then informed me, with slightly condescending delight, that the company will not cut extensions because of liability. I would have to go to a specialty salon. I had been defeated. Curse the hair cut gods! I thanked her and left, with my precious mental notes baaaaaashhhhh. Anyway, Great Clips in Harriman has no problem cutting your extensions if you give your permission. Better yet, Supercut’s has never had a problem with it. So, if your looking for a specialty salon, or maybe one with decent customer service, Supercuts in Harriman is great! Slightly inconvenient, but I got my hair cut ‍♀️

I told her to trim the edges off the back of my hair and she cut 4 inches off!!!!!! She did everything I told her not to. I went to another haircut place and they said that they can’t fix it -it’s to “f” ed up-everywhere. They couldn’t see her goal unless it was to just mess it up on purpose. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I’m going to have to wear a hat for months now.
